Christmas Carol Service & Lighting of the Tree 2011

Yarm Town Council invites you to attend the traditional annual Christmas Carol Service and lighting of the Christmas tree, which will take place this year on Sunday 11th December on the High Street adjacent to the Christmas tree and will include:

9:30am to 5:30pm - The Farmers Market
Selling local fresh produce and a Winter Wonderland Christmas display by Sandra Rose, Florist.

4:00pm to 6:00pm Christmas Craft Market

4:00pm to 5:30pm Carol Singing
Led by choirs from our local Schools and Nursery, accompanied by local musicians.

4:55pm Welcome by Chairman

5:00pm The Reverend Patrick Hartnett will lead the service for the blessing of the Christmas tree, followed by the lighting of the Tree which by MP James Wharton.

Visit from Santa

After the service and lights have been turned on, there will be complimentary mulled wine and mince pies available in the George & Dragon public house.
