Yarm Gala 2010

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Lord Crathorne, Vice Chairman Clr Paul Smith, Clr Sarah Sherwood, Clr Julia Whitehill and Clr Chris Neil.

This years Gala was visited by several thousand people on what turned out to be one of the warmest days in June. Before the Gala started Lord Crathorne unveiled the Council's new Town Hall Plaque above the north entrance. The live stage kept the large crowds entertained with dancers from nearby schools, performances from the talented singer Hayley McKay (pictured below), along with the bands Front Room and Harlequine.

As well as the live entertainment there was a large selection of market stalls displaying local produce, a Victorian and Lions Charities Funfairs, Face painting, Balloon modelling, Punch & Judy and of course the Bell Boat racing.
