Remembrance Day
The Remembrance Day ceremony will take place this year on Sunday 13th November, 2011.
The proceedings will commence with a service in the Parish Church, starting at 9.30am.
This will be followed by a march along West Street, Bridge Street and the High Street for a
short service at the War Memorial adjacent to the Town Hall commencing at approximately 10:55am, for the reading of the Roll of Honour, Observation of Silence and the laying
of wreaths.
The service at the War Memorial will be followed by a march past along the High Street.
Those laying wreathes are asked to take them to the service at the Parish Church for blessing,
if attending this part of the proceedings.
